Blackhawk Introduces Electric Anchor Pump
with Programmable Logic Controller for Landfills
Glen Ellyn, IL - BLACKHAWK ENVIRONMENTAL COMPANY
introduces their electrically operated positive piston displacement
Anchor Pump with PLC (Programmable Logic
Controller) for hazardous and non-hazardous landfill areas.
The Programmable Logic Controller can be programmed for
run time, liquid level, stroke count, system pressure and flow
rate parameters.
The Electric Anchor Pump with PLC is ideal for a
wide variety of hazardous and potentially hazardous landfill
pumping applications such as: recovering leachate from vertical
or horizontal sumps/wells, methane condensate sump and
gas well dewatering, groundwater remediation/recovery and
tank/sump dewatering.
The Electric Anchor Pump with PLC, a reciprocating
action plunger pump, mechanically recovers fluid from the
well bottom, independent of the well’s liquid level, while maintaining
a constant flow recovery rate. The Electric Anchor
Pump with PLC reaches to the lowest possible level and can
be installed in wells as small as 2" in diameter.
The Electric Anchor Pump with PLC’s electric power and power lines are located outside of the well and do not enter into the well or sump. Zero electric wires are in well or sump. The pump drive
mechanism is positioned on top of the wellhead and can be easily viewed during operation.Electric Anchor Pump with PLC can be installed vertically or horizontally and is manufactured
in a range of sizes and designs depending on the degree of application difficulty.
For over ten years, the Blackhawk Anchor Pump has been successfully operating in landfills
across the United States. Blackhawk Environmental Co. has been providing pumping solutions for
the industrial, environmental, landfill and groundwater markets. Blackhawk specializes in manufacturing
quality pumps and controls for demanding pumping applications.
