Difficult Pumping Applications from
Blackhawk Environmental Company
Glen Ellyn, IL - BLACKHAWK ENVIRONMENTAL COMPANY ‘s
Windmill Anchor Pump is designed specially for landfill applications.
BLACKHAWK Windmill Anchor Pumps, using wind power source,
feature 100-year-old windmill head design technology combined
with lightweight, high– tech materials which make installation
and on-site maintenance easy. Blackhawk has windmill pumps
successfully operating in many U.S. landfills pumping from
500 - 1500 gpd.
Using wind as the energy source, the highly efficient Blackhawk
Windmill Anchor Pumps reduce operating costs significantly.
It pumps liquid by using clean, renewable and affordable wind
as the green power energy source. Liquids can be pumped using
winds as light as five miles an hour to heavy winds.
BLACKHAWK Windmill Anchor Pumps can be set for a flow range
of 0 to 10 US GPM and can lift leachate from depths up to
200 feet. Constructed of stainless steel or high-strength
impact resistant thermoplastic, the pumps are designed to
hold up exceptionally well to heat, solvent and organic stressors.
The Blackhawk Windmill Anchor Pumps' unique pumping extend/retract
motion draws liquid from the bottom of a tank or well, independent
of liquid head level. This motion provides a controlled pumping
rate and tractable flow metering of the liquids being pumped.
BLACKHAWK Anchor Piston Pumps are constructed of stainless
steel or high-strength impact resistant thermoplastic. Since
the power source is located above grade outside of the well,
maintenance is easy and simple. Its motor is fully protected
from harm by the elements and is not affected by well pressure
changes. Anchor Pumps can also be electrically or pneumatically
powered and effectively work in hazardous environments.
Blackhawk Environmental Co. provides pumping solutions for
the environmental, landfill, petrochemical, groundwater and
industrial markets. Blackhawk specializes in manufacturing
quality pumps and controls for demanding pumping applications.
