BLACKHAWK ENVIRONMENTAL COMPANY, Glen Ellyn, IL,
announces that their Anchor Piston Pumps are designed for
product recovery in chemical and process industry applications.
Anchor Piston Pumps, positive displacement piston pumps, are
not affected by pressure changes, making them ideal for vessels
under pressure or vacuum. With shallow or deep recovery capabilities,
the lightweight Anchor Pumps can produce 1000 psi of pressure.
Anchor Piston Pumps use an active recovery process that draws
product from a specified depth, at a specified rate. They
can be set for a flow range of 0 to 11 US GPM.
The non-clogging, top-driven Anchor Pumps can also be installed
vertically or horizontally. Top head mechanical-drive mechanisms
and uncomplicated controls make installation and on-site maintenance
easy - even under the toughest conditions.
Anchor Piston Pumps produce a smooth liquid recovery without
introducing outside air or electricity into the vessel. Anchor
Piston Pumps can be operated using pneumatic or electric power.
Since the mechanical drive mechanism resides on top, there
are no power cords or airlines in the vessel. The motor is
fully protected from harm by the elements and is not affected
by pressure change.
