Glen Ellyn, IL - BLACKHAWK ENVIRONMENTAL COMPANY
announces that the electrically powered positive piston displacement
Anchor Pump is specially designed for hazardous and non-hazardous
landfill methane gas condensate sump and well dewatering applications.
The Electric Anchor Pump effectively recovers methane gas
condensate with a smooth controlled flow recovery and has
the ability to tune the recovery speed and strength to the
yield of the formation being pumped.
Unlike other electric landfill pumps, the Anchor Pump is
explosion-proof in the sump of the well. The Electric Anchor
Pump features a pump drive mechanism that is positioned on
top of the wellhead. The pump's electric power and power lines
are not introduced into the well or sump and the pump can
be installed in vertical or horizontal applications.
The Electric Anchor Pump is a reciprocating action plunger
pump that mechanically recovers fluid from the well bottom,
independent of the well's liquid level, while maintaining
a constant flow recovery rate. Unlike other pumps, where discharge
performances are limited to the inlet air pressure, the Electric
Anchor Pump reaches to the lowest possible level, regardless
of dirt, silt, heat or slime, and can be installed in landfill
wells as small as 2" in diameter.
The Electric Anchor Pump is also ideal for pumping vertical
or horizontal sumps or wells. Electric Anchor Pumps are manufactured
in a range of sizes and designs depending on the degree of
application difficulty.
For over ten years, the Blackhawk Anchor Pump has been successfully
operating in landfills across the United States. Blackhawk
Environmental Co. has been providing pumping solutions for
the industrial, environmental, landfill and groundwater markets.
Blackhawk specializes in manufacturing quality pumps and controls
for demanding pumping applications.
