Blackhawk Environmental Company recently announced a NEW submersible
Windmill Anchor Piston Pump. The Blackhawk Windmill Pump generates
power by using clean, renewable and affordable wind as its
energy source and is designed to pump liquids with wind speeds
of five miles per hour or more. Blackhawk Windmill Pumps are
highly efficient, easy to maintain and reduce costs significantly.
Blackhawk Anchor Piston Pumps are available in three different
flow rate models...randing from 0-2 gpm, 0-5 gpm and 0-10
gpm. Constructed of stainless steel or high-strength impact
resistant thermoplastic, Anchor Piston Pumps hold up exceptionally
well to heat, solvent and organic stressors. Since the power
source is located above grade outside the well, maintenance
is easy and simple.
Unlike other windmill pumps, the Anchor Pump uses a continuos
fiberglass drive rod. The drive pistons are smaller and lighter
as well. The resulting factor is that less weight means less
wind power required to pump!
The Anchor Piston Pumps' unique pumping extend/retract motion
provides a controlled pumping rate and tractable flow metering
of the liquids being pumped.
