Electric Anchor Pump®

The Electric Anchor Pump is an electrical drive top head positive displacement piston pump that is ideal for applications such as low flow remediation, landfill leachate, and gas condensate recovery. Because the control motor is located at surface grade, no electricity is present down the well and does not come into contact with the liquid being pumped. The pump's top head electric motor is specially designed for hazardous and potentially hazardous environments, harsh weather conditions, remote and explosion proof locations.

Drive Motor

  • Connections and power above well;
no electricity down in the well
  • Less expensive to purchase and operate
  • Use solar power or connect to existing
    power grid
  • Lower amp draw; conserves power
  • No level controller required
  • Choose 1/17 hp or 1/4 hp
  • Operates wet or dry without damaging pump
  • Quick and easy servicing — no pump pulling
  • No air or gas emissions, no compressed air
  • Does not stall under vacuum
  • Fully enclosed — weather-resistant actuator built for broad, heavy-duty applications
  • Operates in extreme conditions of heat and cold

Controlled Pumping

  • Draws liquid from well, tank or sump at controlled rate.
  • Actively sucks liquid into pump.
  • Eliminates risk of over pumping.
  • Eliminates silting in wells, tanks, or sumps.
  • Allows for accurate controlled draw down.

Best Drawdown Capability In Industry

  • Draws liquid to bottom intake, independent of liquid head.
  • Can be used with small diameter side slope riser pipe.
  • Pump does not need to get around corner at bottom of sump.
  • Pump operates vertically or horizontally.
  • Condensate sump can be positioned shallower. Pump does not have to be submerged to operate.

Electrically Powered

  • Eliminates compressor and air dryer cost.
  • Provides more efficiency than pneumatic power.
  • Eliminates cold weather freezing issues.
  • Has unlimited control options.

Safe, Clean, Healthy Operation

  • Top head drive feature keeps operator free from contaminants.
  • Inspection and maintenance are healthy and safe.
  • Mechanical operation above well or sump.

Applications

  • Vertical or Horizontal Pumping
  • Contaminated Liquids
  • Oils, Tars and Greases
  • Chemical/Industrial Waste Liquids
  • Condensate Gas Liquids
